Question 1

What is Taxi Jove and how does it differ from Uber or Cabify?

Accepted Answer

We are a network of licensed official Barcelona metropolitan taxi drivers. Unlike multinational gig apps that extract 25% commissions to foreign tax havens and assign anonymous drivers, we know Barcelona inside out, keep our hybrid vehicles spotless, and treat every client as our guest.

Question 2

Are you an official 100% legal taxi service?

Accepted Answer

Yes, fully licensed by the Institut Metropolità del Taxi (AMB) with metered regulated pricing, public liability passenger insurance, and verified regular inspections.

Question 3

Do you apply surge pricing during rain, night hours, or trade fairs?

Accepted Answer

Never. We strictly follow regulated AMB meter fares. Rain, rush hour, or large congresses like MWC will never cause arbitrary price hikes.

Question 4

Can I book a guaranteed fixed fare in advance?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can request official T3 flat meter rates via WhatsApp or our web booking system for point-to-point transfers across the Barcelona metropolitan area.

Question 5

What happens if my incoming flight is delayed?

Accepted Answer

We track your flight number in real time through official airport radars. Whether your flight is delayed or lands early, we synchronize pickup with zero extra waiting fees.

Question 6

Where do we meet at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2?

Accepted Answer

We meet at the designated official pre-booked taxi zones in each terminal. VIP arrivals can request name-board pickups at the baggage claim exit.

Question 7

How does the free 10th transfer work?

Accepted Answer

No cards or extra apps. Every ride booked through our web or WhatsApp is recorded to your phone number. Once you reach 9 trips, we calculate your average fare and deduct that full amount from your 10th ride.

Question 8

Can I travel with my dog or pet?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we are 100% pet-friendly. Dogs of all sizes and cats are welcome in harness or carriers with zero unfair surcharges.

Question 9

Are luggage or child strollers charged extra?

Accepted Answer

No. Standard luggage, suitcases, and strollers are included free of charge.
